In 2004, Trisha
Torrey
suffered a horrible cancer misdiagnosis.
Instead of filing lawsuits or simply blaming
others, she founded DiagKNOWsis: this
website which would help other patients
learn how to empower themselves to make
better informed and wiser choices about
their medical care.
Today DiagKNOWsis has
blossomed into a group of services which
continue to provide assistance to patients,
based on the feedback and lessons learned in
these ensuing years.
